It’s never a good idea to “wing it” when it comes to the health of a loved one. Having a plan that addresses health concerns can provide peace-of-mind and prevent small problems from turning into big ones. At Brown Animal Hospital, we believe prevention is the best medicine, so we have decided to offer Petly Preventive Care Plans that will allow pet owners to keep their pets happy and healthy, no matter their age or breed. Petly Preventive Care Plans are affordable and easy to understand.
Puppy and Kitten Plans
Ongoing wellness care and prevention of health problems are very important to ensuring that your pet leads a long, healthy life. At Brown Animal Hospital, exams and vaccinations are recommended at least once per year for pets of all ages. Depending on your fur babies life stage and physical condition, more visits may be recommended. All care is customized to your pet’s individual needs and our veterinarians will work closely with you to customize their treatments.
Adult Dog and Cat Plans
When your pet reaches his or her adult years, the care that is required begins to change. Our veterinarians will often place a major focus on certain aspects of care, including diagnostic testing to check for hidden diseases and conditions. We also believe that this is a critical period for prevention of parasites and diseases. Pet vaccines are an important aspect of adult pet health. Our Adult Petly Plans offer the options for all life stages - from young adult to senior.
Frequently Asked Questions

Regular examinations, vaccinations, screenings and other medical procedures provide your veterinarian with information about your pet’s body, organs and overall health. By looking at your pet on a regular basis and measuring changes in their health, issues can be detected earlier and you and your veterinarian can follow through with treatment sooner to avoid illness becoming costlier in the future. This approach to pet healthcare is called preventive care.

Preventive care includes services such as routine checkups, necessary vaccinations, intestinal parasite screens and recommended blood and urine screens. It may also include dental cleanings and other recommended services. Your pet’s age, species, breed and overall health status will play a role in determining which services are needed in their preventive care protocol.

Absolutely! Illnesses and disease can affect a puppy or kitten’s health too. Preventive care can include vaccine series to protect against such dangerous diseases as distemper and rabies. Services also often include spaying and neutering your young pet, as well as blood screening to establish baseline information for early detection of potential health threats in the future.
-
Absolutely! Preventive care services for senior pets can include twice-annual checkups, blood and urine screening, dental cleanings, vaccinations, pest control and more.

Petly Plans are affordable monthly payment plans for your pet’s preventive-care services. These care plans were created by veterinarians to help make taking care of your pet convenient and affordable. Petly Plans allow you and your vet to customize a plan to meet your individual needs and budget – and arrange monthly payments for those services instead of a once or twice a year lump sum.
-
Yes. You and your veterinarian will determine which care package is right for you and your budget. Once that is determined, you pay a monthly membership fee based on the plan you choose.
-
Yes. We understand that circumstances change and that life is hard to predict. We make it easy to change or cancel your plan at any time. You will be responsible only for the regular price of services you’ve used so far, but won’t be penalized or charged fees for cancellation.
